Who is Morpheus.live?
My name is Greg MacDonald, and I’m a photographer, musician, and web developer. I’m often active in music projects, taking travel photography and working on client’s internet marketing projects. My main job has been running a web development and hosting company called Morpheus Studios.
This blog is an attempt to finally share the wealth of music photography that I’ve acquired over the years. Some of the images were taken to help promote my friends bands, music projects that I’ve been a part of of, or music that i’m a fan of. Some photos are taken to help promote the local scene in Calgary Canada, and others are taken at international music festivals I’ve attended.
Over the years, I’ve been involved with several music projects as a musician. In addition to writing and performing, I’ll often lend my media skills to help promote the band. This includes:
- tracking and mixing audio for albums,
- recording multi-track audio and video of live performances,
- concert photography,
- website development,
- content development,
- graphic design,
- search engine optimization and internet marketing.
Need a hand?
Live concert photography is definitely something I enjoy doing, and as such, I am available to work with bands who need promo shots, photos/video of live concerts, or promo videos. As i’m also an audio engineer, and I’m available for multi-track audio recording. I’ve done a fair bit of multi-track audio recording I certainly look forward to future projects.
